A Script writing Blog???

spec-scripts

Writing is probably the loneliest profession I know.  You sit a computer, look at a blank screen and nothing.   Lonelier if you’re not making any money at it.  But we’re not in it to make money right?   We’re in it because we’re passionate about writing, and if we get paid to do what we love, then there’s the bonus.  I started this blog with the intent to let my friends know what I was doing with my script writing.  I got to thinking about it and that seemed self-serving.  I need just as much input as any other script writer and I thought, why not put together a blog that can help other script writers with their work.  Anyone who writes scripts or any type of writing is welcome here.  If you have sold some work and want to come here and give your perspective, then you are welcome.  It’s all about getting some insight from others who stare at the blank page.  Some skeptics would say, he’s just using this as a marketing tool and yes I am, but I can’t think of any other way to market your work and my own by networking.  I hope to have a lot of content on this site, so come here, make new friends and share your experiences, ask your questions and get some feedback.  After all if you are a script writer.  The Script is the thing.

  1. Hello there! This post couldn’t be written any better! Looking at
this post reminds me of my previous roommate! He constantly kept
preaching about this. I’ll forward this post to him.
Pretty sure he’ll have a very good read.
    I appreciate you for sharing!
